3D configurator for teamwear: teams, clubs and companies design their kit with colours, logos and sponsors, and production receives clear specifications.
Updated October 2026
In short
A 3D configurator for teamwear lets teams, clubs and companies design their kit on a three-dimensional model: colours, graphics, fabrics and the placement of club and sponsor logos. WeWear's Config3D drops into the product page as an embed and, once the design is confirmed, hands production clear specifications on colours, materials and logo placement. It is already in use in motorsport, for HRX Bespoke Motorsport's racing suits with custom livery.
In teamwear every order is customised by definition. A kit comes out of a discussion with several people (the coach, the club board, sometimes the sponsors) and usually goes through two-dimensional sketches, emails and rounds of corrections. Each step is a chance for a misunderstanding about a shade, the size of a logo or its position on the sleeve or back.
A 3D configurator moves the discussion onto a shared object: the customer sees the kit as it will be, rotates it, changes it and approves it. For the manufacturer, that means fewer physical samples for each proposal and an order that arrives with complete information.
Player names and numbers, governing-body rules on colours or logo size, and size management for the whole squad depend on your product and your ordering workflow: they are points to clarify in the first call, case by case.
The value of a configurator shows after confirmation. With Config3D, technical specifications are generated in a manufacturing-ready format, so production receives colours, materials and logo placement without manual transcription. This fits a made-to-order model: you produce what has been ordered, with no stock of pre-made kits.
The same tool supports the sales network. Agents and showrooms can present several kit proposals to a club during the meeting, without producing a sample for each one.
The configurator defines what the kit will look like, not which size each athlete needs. That is why WeWear has separate modules: SizeFlow for online size recommendation and the 3D Body Scanner, a booth that captures body measurements for made-to-measure production. How to connect them to your ordering workflow is a question for the call.
HRX Bespoke Motorsport integrated the configurator so that teams can design their own racing suits with custom livery, from colour to graphics. The project, developed with Prisma Tech and We Wear, was covered by Pambianco News in December 2024. The same approach applies to jerseys and kits for cycling, running and outdoor teams, to corporate uniforms and to merchandise for clubs and events.

A 30-minute call to look at your range, platform and goals; a pilot on one product line, set up with your team; a measurement of results carried out by you, on part of your traffic, with an A/B test. Pricing depends on modules and volumes and is stated in the first call.
A CAD model or a photo is enough to see how Config3D applies to your teamwear range.
